    Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN (Transplant Specialty) – Florida

    Start Date: March 23, 2026

    Location: Davie, Florida

    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

    Schedule: 0645–1715 with liver transplant call coverage; willing to assist with other cases when transplant volume permits. On-call requirement of 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12s or 40 hours for 8/10s.

    Highlights:

    • Dedicated transplant OR at a 230-bed teaching hospital with daily census of 55–60 patients and 18 operating rooms
    • Advanced transplant program requiring experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplantation – not just procurement, but full transplant case participation
    • Must be proficient in Misonix/CUSA technology
    • Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided
    • Teaching facility environment with opportunities to mentor students and new staff
    • Free parking and smoke-free campus

    Requirements:

    • Current Florida RN license or willing to obtain (pending licenses accepted)
    • Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room experience with demonstrated transplant expertise
    • Strong, documented experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplantation – must include experience with organ implantation, not just harvesting
    • AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications (must be current at time of submission)
    • NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
    • Proficiency with Misonix/CUSA equipment
    • Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test – must be nicotine-free with no exceptions
    • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
    • Willingness to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
    • First-time travelers accepted
