- Experience in Radiation Safety/Protection (or similar field)
- Experience at an NRC licensed fuel fabrication facility
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication, and quality orientation/attention to details proficiency with Xcel and CAP88
- Results and action orientation, flexibility, initiative, demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety and ALARA practices related to Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of radiation instruments
- Ability to identify and solve problems associated with Radiation Protection
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Comfortable using computer programs associated with Health Physics e.g. Excel, MS Word, VSDS, CAP88,
- Perform Health Physics Audits
- Assist in collecting data used in dose reduction meetings
- Assist in dose tracking
- Assist in ordering and distributing dosimeters
- Assist in conducting dose reduction and ALARA meetings
- Interface with the NRC and WDOH during audits and inspections

The range of base salary for the position is between $70,000 - $91,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.
