- Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician
- Collaborate with the physician in the health care of patients with chronic illnesses
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, positive behaviors, medical issues, and use of prescribed treatments and medications
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, and consultations
- Order appropriate diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications within the scope of your license
- Promote preventive and health maintenance care through education and counseling
- Ensure regular attendance for efficient operations
- Assist in patient flow, triage, and other nursing duties as necessary
- Fulfill any other assigned duties and responsibilities
- Must hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) in Adult or Family Care
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records system
- Self-motivated individual dedicated to excellent patient care and customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrates a patient-centric approach and a positive attitude
