- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including arranging equipment and supplies.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure that they are properly stored.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies to surgeons.
- Monitor surgical equipment to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
- Handle specimens and send them to the laboratory for analysis.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
- One (1) year of surgical tech experience preferred.
- Current State License/Certificatio n.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
