    Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for an Associate Field Support Specialist in our Field Services department located in Naperville, IL. This position operates under the direct supervision of a Field Support Supervisor within a very fast paced environment.     You will be primarily responsible for providing exceptional service support for our service areas around North America and Canada, while providing customer service to a variety of internal and external customers. This position is a relationship-centered job, requiring problem solving, quick response to staff, technician, and sales questions, and the delivery and support of cost efficient services in a highly professional manner. The role will also require you to exercise judgment by making key decisions using resources available.

    What you will Do:

    • Set up service jobs by partnering with Nalco Water sales reps, customers, service technicians, and 3rd party contractors.
    • Assign the appropriate service technician to each work order based on project scope and geographic location.
    • Schedule and communicate service jobs and scope of work to sales, service technicians, and contractors.
    • Drive the work order process by communicating with all parties when information is needed (i.e. Scheduled service dates, when equipment/parts are going to arrive, missing information on a work order, etc.).
    • Coordinate the ordering of standard and non-standard equipment/parts.
    • Engage in problem solving by generating and/or reading reports, and interpreting the data to provide appropriate recommendations.
    • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within Nalco Water Field Services, sales, and other internal departments to successfully process service requests in a timely manner.
    • Assist and educate field service technicians, sales reps, and contractors to stay compliant with Corporate Policies, Procedures, and standard operating procedures.

    Position Details:

    • This position is located in Naperville, IL.
    • The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00PM.
    • Hybrid work environment

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • 2 years of successful field service support or technical sales support experience
    • Experience in scheduling or dispatching service orders and meeting strict deadlines
    • Skilled in providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
    • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)
    • No relocation assistance available for this position


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Associates degree
    • 4 years of successful field service support or technical sales support experience
    • Familiarity and/or experience with SAP and CRM systems
    • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
    • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Strong work ethic and customer service skills
