    What you'll be working on

    Acts as the lead on more complex below ground service, main, and regulator station installations and repairs, while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation as a first responder

    Utilizes company provided technology proficiently including the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to plan emergency repairs and maintenance activities of gas main and services

    Leads, directs, and develops employees in below-ground skills, and provides consistent and reliable feedback to supervision

    Performs the basic-level tapping and stopping of gas during pipeline maintenance and emergency work

    Performs mechanical, electro-fusion, and external-heat-applied plastic welding on plastic pipe during repairs and maintenance

    Documents, analyzes, and reports abnormal operating conditions and takes appropriate corrective action for regulatory compliance

    Provides information and data required for the Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP), as required, and other necessary work documentation

    Performs service activation, deactivation, leak investigations and repairs, and pipeline maintenance

    Provides customer consultation regarding work performed and instructions on gas usage

    Captures work order documentation on the company provided technology accurately

    Performs other job-related duties as assigned
