    King Air Technician Specialist, BEECHCRAFT KING AIR AND 1900 SERIES AIRCRAFT (full time w/ benefits)

    Immediate position available in Killeen, TX. Relocation assistance may be available.

    Job Summary: A&P Required: Mid-level professional. Participate in maintenance team efforts to achieve and maintain high aircraft readiness rates. Maintain King Air and 1900 aircraft @types. Set the example in word and deed to establish a culture of safety. Conforms and complies with air carrier, FAA and international flight procedures and regulations, ensuring aircraft is airworthy and in compliance with safety management and other policies. Coordinate with air carrier dispatch and flight department to ensure all organizational requirements are satisfied. Completes initial and periodic training required to maintain compliance with organizational, FAA and international regulations. Supports and enforces hazardous material safety, personnel protective equipment use and environmental stewardship. Reports to the Director of Maintenance.

    Essential Tasks/Functions:

  • Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
  • Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand or power tools.
  • Clean, refuel, and change oil in line service aircraft.
  • Accompany aircraft on flights to make in-flight adjustments and corrections.
  • Inventory and requisition or order supplies, parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces.
  • Work any shift including unscheduled overtime, nonscheduled workdays and holidays as needed.
  • Up to 25% Travel to perform AOG maintenance on aircraft located at outstations.
