- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.
- Assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and vendor and customer management.
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making journal entries where necessary
- Collaborate with our team to provide them with the necessary documentation and information for tax preparation and financial reporting.
- Record payroll journal entries
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and AR/AP functions.
- Payroll experience a plus
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks).
- Proficient using Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Google Gsuite, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to represent the Company professionally, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters with discretion and diplomacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, including staff, board members, and partners
- Self-starter; highly motivated and resourceful team player able to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong judgment: able to think and work independently, multi-task, prioritize, and follow through to manage workflow effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, protocol, and a commitment to high-quality work
- High fluency with Microsoft Office (specifically with Excel)

MPM Advisors is looking to bring on a detail-oriented Bookkeeper and AR/AP Clerk. This role will be full-time and will require flexibility for onsite meetings with clients in Orange County as needed.JOB OVERVIEW:
The Bookkeeper and AR/AP Clerk will be responsible for managing the full general ledger for multiple client entities. Along with delivering full-cycle bookkeeping for existing clients, this position will be responsible for transaction clean-up and generating creative solutions necessary to transition clients onto MPM Advisors' outsourced accounting program. This role will benefit from facing a variety of challenges across a wide breadth of clients.
