    Analytics Engineer (Snowflake)

    Hybrid - Alpharetta, GA (3x/week)

    Contract to Hire

    Brooksource is seeking a Snowflake Data Analyst to join our Fortune 500 Telecommunications Client in their continuous effort to analyze and process data for the applications they support for the retail business.

    This role will touch on all internal reporting analytics and pull executive score cards for the business and internal systems data for customer service-facing platforms. This team collaborates with the Chief Data Office on development and data structure for business impact of the data they are sourcing.

    Qualifications

    • Requires 4+ years' experience with data analytics and utilizing Snowflake.
    • Must have 4+ YOE with SNOWFLAKE, Databricks, Python, Azure, and Power BI.
    • Telecom domain experience will be an added advantage.
    • Strong data analytics skills for process and application support.
    • An understanding of data analytics and the ability to communicate how it impacts the business side of the house is needed.
    • Must be able to work with business partners and reporting teams to craft those user stories.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
    • May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
    • Work on monthly release basis for 60–90-day sprints. Doing analysis before creating the user stories for pre and post-deployment.
    • 60%: Analysis of data process for the applications and platforms that you will be supporting. Assisting in data analysis for data stories. Ability to utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
    • 40%: Using Snowflake, Data bricks, and Python in architecting data into summarized models. Writes code, completes programming and documentation.
