    Description

    A travel nursing position for a Med Surg RN is available with our client, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency. The assignment is for 13 weeks starting on May 19th, 2024 for 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

    Requirements for the position include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in administering medication, and familiar with documenting medication and treatment administration.

    The benefits offered include weekly pay with direct deposit, full coverage of all credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, group health insurance for the nurse and their family, company-paid life and disability insurance, travel reimbursement, and 401(k) matching. Unlimited referral bonuses are also available, up to $1,000.

    As a Med Surg RN, the candidate will provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures, and those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. This broad range of medical conditions will require the nurse to be well-versed in various health conditions. Duties include assessing changes in patient health, administering treatment and medication, complete assignments made by physicians, and meticulous documentation of patient care.
