- Participate in the month end close process, preparing journal entries related to inventory, sales, cost of sales and operating adjustments, reconciliations and month end financial statements.
- Provide inventory and transactional analysis, including scrap, production variance and inventory valuation variance.
- Provide support to Finance leadership for reports and analysis in support of Division, Group and Corporate reviews, audits, and ad hoc requirements.
- Active participant in the development, implementation and support of Lean Manufacturing and Finance
- Miscellaneous projects to support the finance team such as Audits.
- Possess analytical and technical accounting skills required to understand, analyze, research, and recommend opportunities for improvements.
- Be able to manage multiple projects.
- Have good organizational, communication, interpersonal, analytical, skills.
- Have experience with Excel and pivot tables.
- Enrollment in an accredited college/university during the intern period - Required.
- If in College, then actively pursuing at least, a bachelor's degree in related academic major - Required.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future – Required.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Internship - Required.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred.
- Be enrolled in a business degree program, such as accounting or finance major or minor or general business, completed the foundational accounting courses (Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting) and able to apply principles of accounting to analyze diverse and complex financial information.
- A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred.

Who We Want:
Q'Apel Medical is recruiting interns for Summer 2024 based out of HQ office in Fremont, CA. This internship program will provide a comprehensive learning and professional experience in the Finance space.
Intern positions are full-time opportunities expecting to last ~2.5 months, from mid-June start to mid-August 2024. This in-person position is available to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors at an accredited college/university during the intern period. We work in a "Onsite model". This means that you will be asked to report on site at our HQ in Fremont throughout the week. If you are selected for an internship role, you will work directly with your manager as your start date approaches to confirm your exact schedule.
