- Experience with hands-on assembly of photonic systems including compound semiconductors (lasers, modulators, photodetectors) - preferably 5 years
- Familiarity with compound semiconductor device processing
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, or related field
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Master's degree in relevant fields
- Knowledge of microfabrication techniques and process integration
- Proficiency in optoelectronic or RF device testing
- Experience with capital equipment maintenance
- Research and develop mechanical/electromechanical products and systems
- Recommend technology solutions for safety, performance, efficiency improvements
- Oversee the transition of projects from R&D to manufacturing
- Position is full-time and on-site with potential remote flexibility on a case-by-case basis.
- Interview process includes an initial Zoom interview followed by additional team member interviews if necessary.
