    We are Hiring Front-End Team Members at Goodwill in Topsham, Maine



    Goodwill is on the lookout for energetic and sociable individuals to become part of our ever-growing team. Your main role would involve tasks such as operating the register, organizing merchandise, assisting in fitting rooms, and fostering a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Customer Service: Welcome customers with a smile, offer help, and ensure they have a pleasant shopping experience.
    • Operate the Register: Process purchases accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Merchandising: Assist in creating an appealing and tidy sales area by arranging and updating merchandise to make space for new items.
    • Fitting Rooms: Manage the fitting rooms, ensuring customers have what they need to make confident choices.
    • Team Spirit: Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for customers and colleagues, building a sense of community within the store.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Positive Attitude: Essential. Demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude to cultivate a welcoming work environment.
    • Basic Math and Literacy Skills: Necessary for handling transactions and job responsibilities.
    • Flexibility: Openness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business requirements.
    • Criminal Background Check: Successful completion of a background check meeting organization standards.
    • Physical Abilities: Capable of exerting varying amounts of force to move objects.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Retail Experience or Certification: Previous retail experience or relevant certification is advantageous.
    • Education: High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent.
