- Collaborate with the design and product development teams to finalize samples for production.
- Ensure design vision is executed correctly and on time.
- Organize and maintain a pre-production calendar to track and manage workflow and deadlines.
- Coordinate with production partners to ensure all materials (fabrics, trims, etc.) are approved and ordered on time.
- Attend and document all fittings while following up to ensure corrections are made on time.
- Manage tech pack creation, including detailed specifications for manufacturing.
- Facilitate communication between design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure department alignment.
- Audit all style master information for each collection/style before launching to ensure all information is correct when pushing to other systems.
- Search for and set up new factories to ensure new ranges of products with competitive pricing.
- Ensure the product is ready in time for photo shoots and marketing projects.
- Manage cost sheets to ensure pricing is in line with brand requirements.
- Apply and manage UPCs to all styles moving into production.
- Ensure the SKU plan is being followed so we do not overdevelop.
- Assisted in defining seasonal pricing targets, final LDP price, and actualized price after production is received.
- Purchase order entry and style creation.
- Monitor production timelines, ensuring all stages of the production process stay on track.
- Work with production partners or manufacturers to resolve any production issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Pick up and deliver samples.
- Conduct on-site visits to factories and the warehouse to oversee production quality and progress.
- Maintain detailed records of production workflows, adjustments, and final outputs.
- Assist in quality control processes, including final approval of samples and bulk production.
- Partner with the fit team to ensure TOPs are measured within tolerance. Always fix the problem before the product ships.
- Review and become familiar with vendor compliance per customer and review for changes every quarter.
- Maintain strong relationships with all vendors and manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing and timelines and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure vendors adhere to ethical production standards and practices.
- Prepare regular reports on production status and present updates to upper management.
- Document and archive production samples and records for future reference.
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Production Management, or related field.
- Five years of experience using an ERP like Full Circle, RLM, or SAP (we are on Exenta).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the apparel industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production cycles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Reliable means of transportation.
