- Dual Enrollment Instructors teach high school and Midlands Technical College (MTC) courses at a participating high school. The MTC course, and by extension, the Instructor, are under the purview of MTC and the supervision of the appropriate MTC Department Chair.
- Dual Enrollment Instructors are expected to comply with relevant MTC policies and procedures. Dual enrollment courses shall be equivalent to the pedagogical orientation of the MTC academic department and contain the same student learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes and instructional effectiveness.
- Transfer courses require a master's degree and 18 graduate hours in the discipline

Job Responsibilities
Midlands Technical College is a public, multi-campus, two-year public college serving the primary region of Richland, Lexington and Fairfield counties of South Carolina that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. This position is located on the Campuses of participating High Schools in Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield Counties.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school teaching experience. High school teachers at participating high schools who desire to teach MTC courses must be vetted by the MTC program.
Work experience in the discipline.

I understand that the opportunity for which I am applying is temporary and that I serve at the will of Midlands Technical College. I fully understand and agree that if selected, I will not be entitled to annual or sick leave, paid holidays, grievance rights, or other benefits normally associated with employment in a permanent FTE position based on state guidelines.
Student Loans: South Carolina state law prohibits employment by any state agency of any person who has willfully defaulted on certain student loans, unless they can prove that satisfactory arrangements have been made for repayment. I certify that I am not currently in default on a student loan.
