$1900,000 - $210,000 + Bonus + Benefits

I am working exclusively with a Global Financial Services client of mine that are looking to add a Senior Security Architect to their function reporting directly into the VP of Cyber.

Responsibilities:

This is a highly technical and hands on position within the security architecture & engineering function, experience with Vulnerability Management, Security Design, Application Security and OWASP is essential.

Experience providing assurance and GRC recommendations around technical roadmaps to other VP's is a critical component of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage a comprehensive security program that protects the organization's data and systems.
• Operated at senior level working alongside department heads on a regular basis
• Demonstrated experience in developing and leading security programs in a multi-platform environment
• Good understanding of value of deploying applications in a cloud environment and how to keep them secure
• Hands on technical security design enterprise wide
• Knowledge of OWASP, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cryptography / Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocol
• Experience with one of the following: security services, managed detection and response, cloud security strategy, consulting & system integration, SSDLC, Vulnerability Management, Application Security and Secure DevOps.
• End-Point Detection and Response (EDR): Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise-wide EDR system, monitoring and responding to critical security incidents and anomalies.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Architect and manage SIEM solutions, including log management and analysis, event correlation, and incident response. Drive improvement in signal detection, incident response times, and process efficiency.
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF): Develop and maintain security architecture for web application firewall technologies. Oversee implementation, configuration, and tuning of WAF rules.
• Firewalls: Architect, design, and oversee implementation and management of enterprise network firewall and IPS systems.
• Cloud Security: Drive the design and implementation of security architecture for cloud-based systems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), ensuring secure integration into overall enterprise architecture. Lead efforts to ensure cloud environments align with industry best practices for security and compliance.
• On-Premises Security: Ensure secure design, deployment, and operation of on-premises systems. Provide security architecture guidance for on-premises system upgrades and migrations.
• AI Security: Research, design, and implement AI-based security tools and strategies. Drive innovation in automated threat detection and response.
• Overall Security Architecture: Develop, maintain, and communicate the enterprise security architecture, including the development of architectural patterns and guidelines. Ensure that all technology initiatives are adequately analyzed for security impact and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong experience with applications, infrastructure, DLP, cloud security
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
