- Assist the estimator in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for high-end doors and windows projects, including material and labor costs, subcontractor bids, and other relevant expenses.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Compile and organize bid documents, including proposals, contracts, and specifications, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Support the estimator in analyzing project scope, specifications, and requirements to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Assist in reviewing project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of project estimates, bids, and related correspondence.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field would be a plus.
- Previous experience or knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices is a plus, but not required. This position is suitable for entry-level candidates eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform thorough take-offs and measurements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development and growth.
