    Description

    Large growing national company in Stafford Texas is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The company is looking for a minimum of 3+ years of experience. The HR Generalist will be responsible for the effective day to day functions of all human resources related duties to support the company.

    Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner will include, but not limited to the following:

    • Business partner to division leaders to help drive business performance
    • Counsel, partner with and influence managers and leaders
    • Manage day to day activities and solve problems with managers and employees consistent with policies/practices, legal considerations, and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues
    • Ensures company compliance by staying abreast with all federal employment laws, varying laws by state in which the company has operations. Performs regular audits (HR File, I-9, FLSA) to ensure compliance.
    • Adjust HR strategies and tactics to respond to changing business needs
    • Prepares and files company's annual EEO-1 report.
    • Use sound HR knowledge and provide hands-on execution in the areas of workforce planning, change management, employee productivity, recruitment and selection, and employee relations
    • Implement and execute employee relations programs / practices that create a positive organizational culture and enable management effectiveness
    • In partnership with HR Manager, leads the effort to respond to and resolve all EEOC charges, lawsuits, or other legal actions.
    • Manages the performance management cycle by supporting managers with employee performance reviews, ensuring all are conducted timely, fairly, and documents are stored in performance management system.
    • Roll out and drive corporate programs
    • Through the use of HR metrics, continuously assess the effectiveness of all human resources programs relative to the achievement of desired goals and outcomes and the overall strategic business plans
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience working in a similar role/environment and responsible for over 300 employees
    • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
    • SHRM Certification a plus (PHR, SPHR, SCM-CP)
    • Communicate effectively with others both verbally and written
    • Work both independently and with others as necessary
    • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Ability to review work for accuracy and completeness
    • Think independently and develop solutions to problems
