    About the Job

    The Runner role involves delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately, acting as a crucial link between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain kitchen efficiency by delivering dishes to tables
    • Ensure timely delivery of items to customers
    • Support waitstaff
    • Keep a steady flow of items between kitchen, table, and dishwasher
    • Work effectively in a team setting
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Stay organized to handle busy periods
    • Coordinate tasks and communicate effectively with restaurant staff
    • Ability to multitask and communicate clearly
    • Speak up assertively to guide coworkers
    • Perform other assigned duties and tasks

    Qualifications & Skills

    • High School Diploma preferred
    • Eligibility to work in the United States
    • Valid Driver's License
    • 18+ years of age
    • State required work cards
    • Relevant experience
    • Familiarity with Opentable
    • Proper lifting techniques
    • Guest relations, sanitation, safety
    • Alcohol service knowledge
    • Full service restaurant operations
    • Effective English communication skills

    Working Conditions

    Encounter indoor/outdoor work with varying noise levels and guest volumes

    • Work in fast-paced restaurant settings
    • Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

    Physical Requirements
