Job summary
This is a nonexempt position responsible for the medical assistant care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s) in various ambulatory settings. The job involves performing administrative duties including rooming functionality and documentation. It also requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a face-paced environment.- Provides patient support and keeps informed of delays.
- Takes appropriate action including offering alternatives.
- Accurately documents information in the EMR.
