Certified Medical Assistant – West Clermont Family Medicine

The Certified Medical Assistant is a vital part of our team, collaborating closely with the primary care physician to deliver top-notch patient care to our community. The role ensures services are provided within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines.

Essential Functions:

Provides exceptional customer service by warmly greeting patients and the community
Prepares and reviews patient charts for upcoming visits, ensuring accuracy of all medical records
Measures vital signs like pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
Handles department-related clerical duties and resolves issues promptly
Performs various other assigned duties

Education: High School Degree or GED

Licensure/Certification: Active Medical Assisting Certification (required), Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire)

Experience: One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred), Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred)

Skills & Abilities: Problem-solving skills, basic computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
