    CDL A or CDL B Driver


    Join our team at B&L Wholesale Supply in Rochester as a CDL A or CDL B Driver.     Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities


    As a Driver, or what we call a Logistics Specialist II, your main responsibility is to transport building materials to customers' businesses or job sites. Operating within a 200-mile radius of your home branch, you'll start and end your deliveries at the branch itself, ensuring no overnight stays are required.


    • Home every night
    • Safety Bonus
    • Navigate a commercial vehicle safely in compliance with DOT regulations.
    • Champion job site safety by operating equipment in line with local, state, and federal laws.
    • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
    • Verify inventory, delivery orders, and addresses.
    • Inspect job sites and document any existing damage or obstacles.
    • Capture photos of all delivered building products.


    Requirements

    • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
    • Ability to handle building products weighing up to 100 lbs. each.
    • Safe driving record with no recent infractions.
    • Previous commercial driving and forklift experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with DOT & OSHA regulations.
    • Distribution or logistics background is advantageous.
    • Proficient in English communication.
    • Minimum age requirement of 18 or 21 for specific cases.
    • Must clear drug tests and have current DOT medical certification.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S.

    As of January 6, 2020, all CDL Drivers in the U.S. must be registered with FMCSA. If hired, our background check will verify your registration, along with other screenings.




    Base Salary:
    The salary for this role typically ranges from $20 to $26 per hour at SRS/Heritage, factoring in various job-related aspects. For more details, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Partner or Hiring Leader.
