$45.00 per hour, equivalent to $68,640 to $93,600 annually

Summary:
Robert D. Niehaus, Inc. (RDN) is looking for an Economist to join their team. RDN's Economists are versatile problem solvers who handle analytical, managerial, client service, and business development tasks across different economic consulting projects. As part of this role, you will focus on designing, building, and managing data-driven workflows for regional housing market analysis and researching issues pertaining to the rental housing for US military service members and their families. We are seeking smart, humble, and hardworking professionals who can collaborate effectively and adapt to different situations. Responsibilities:
-Research the cost, quality, and availability of rental housing in 300+ markets
-Develop, scale, and support data collection and analysis workflows
-Prepare and present client briefings, research reports, and interactive dashboards
-Design and execute technical approaches to unique problems
-Contribute to internal research and development initiatives
-Review and provide feedback on colleagues' economic analyses and reports
-Travel up to 10% of time
Requirements:
-US citizenship
-Completion of FBI fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI)
-Bachelor's degree in Economics with 2+ years' relevant experience, OR
-MA/MS/MBA in Economics or related field
-Intermediate or higher understanding of economic concepts and quantitative methods
-Intermediate or higher proficiency in statistical programming languages or software packages like R or Python
-Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
-Reliable workload management
-Advanced user of MS Office applications
