    Job DescriptionThe Director of Talent Management will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within our organization.

    You will lead a team dedicated to building world-class talent programs that cultivate a high-performing, growth-minded culture and an employee experience that employees view as the best time of their careers.

    Your responsibilities will encompass leadership of programs across talent management, including performance enablement, employee listening, employee learning and development, and strategic talent assessment and planning.


    Responsibilities:


    Use data-driven insights and industry best practices to design, optimize and execute talent management processes in the following areas:Performance Enablement Spearhead the design and implementation of performance enablement systems, processes, and tools to drive individual and organizational performance excellenceDesign programs and lead team to provide strategic guidance and support to managers and employees on setting OKRs (objectives and key results), providing feedback, and addressing performance issuesAnalyze performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement and develop actionable insights to enhance overall performanceEmployee Listening Lead the development of strategies to effectively measure, summarize, and enhance the Freshworks employee experienceDesign and implement regular surveys and assessments to measure employee engagement and identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns, improve the work environment, and promote a culture of high performance, recognition, inclusivity, and belonging where employees are empowered to do their best workLearning and Development Develop and lead a team to execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns to our core global programs, focused on company objectives and employee growth needs and a lens on operationalizing and building rigorDesign and implement an integrated approach to development across the talent management function, including training programs, workshops, and resources to support employee development and career growthEvaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to ensure alignment with organizational goals and employee needsStrategic Talent Assessment and Planning Design and implement talent assessment e.g., calibration and succession planning, processes to identify and develop high-potential talent for key roles within the organizationWork closely with leadership, partner COEs and within talent management to assess current and future talent needs and design a process that will build robust talent pipelinesDevelop and implement tools and practices to increase the adoption of key talent practices and talent development plans to prepare employees for future leadership roles to ensure the continuity of critical functionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferredProven experience (15+ years) in talent management, HR Leadership, or related rolesStrong understanding of talent management principles, practices, and trendsExcellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levelsStrategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiativesStrong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive insights and decision-makingAgile and curious leader with experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and a willingness to be involved in programs from conception to executionAdditional InformationThe annual OTE salary range in San Mateo for this position is between: $195,690-$318,010 USD.At Freshworks, we are creating a global workplace that enables everyone to find their true potential, purpose, and passion, irrespective of their background, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity.
