Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work afternoons/evenings monitoring, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting the Sr. Maintenance Technician with implementing projects.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts. The preferred shift is 12pm-8pm, but there is some flexibility with the schedule depending on your needs. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be needed.

Pay: $24 - $26 per hour depending on experience. There is also a 2nd shift differential of $3.00/hour for scheduled start times of 11:00 am or later. This position is also eligible for a quarterly production bonus of up to $750 per quarter.

Sign-On Bonus: $2000

Essential Responsibilities (this is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician):

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production equipment and building systems including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Assist with planning and implementing special projects and plant improvements.
• Work with outside contractors to perform specialized repairs or installations.
• Assist with on-call maintenance service.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Ability to multitask and troubleshoot.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in hot and/or cold weather conditions, both inside the facility and outside the facility.
• Must be able to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, and stand for hours at a time.
• This job requires routinely lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally lifting pounds, and rarely lifting 75 pounds or more.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of welding, electrical, mechanical, and programming is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver's license as some business travel may be necessary.
• Basic knowledge of Office365
