Job Overview

Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Welding Machines to produce high-quality parts on time.

A Day in the Life

• Set-up, adjust machines, and equipment for quality production.
• Certified 6G welder.
• Read blueprints.
• Receive instructions, prints, and route sheets; plan operational duties.
• Operate, program, and troubleshoot Robot Systems for productivity and quality.
• Perform quality tests, certifications, and production checks as required.
• Continually inspect product, record production, report scrap, and perform rework as assigned.
• Maintain efficient process and adhere to company standards.
• Repair or hand-weld products below standard due to robotic operation tolerance variables.
• Operate overhead crane, forklift, hand-held grinder, and other department equipment.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate as a team member.

Requirements for Success

• Hold a Certified Welder's job or equivalent certification.
• PASS AWS Certification Test per Company Welding Policy.
• Use calipers, gages, and measuring devices proficiently.
• Perform SPC procedures and interpret findings to improve the process.
• Navigate HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
• Solve problems proactively.
