Description
Position Summary
As a licensed Journeyman Electrician, monitor and maintain airport jetbridges and baggage delivery systems; install, maintain, modify and repair high and low voltage single and multi-phase transmission, distribution, lighting, communication, control and alarm systems and components; troubleshoot problems in electrical systems and components and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area responsibility.
Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
High school diploma or GED; and
Five (5) years of electronic or electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair experience at the electrical journeyman level.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of aCity Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a valid State of New Mexico Journeyman Electrical EE-98J License.
Must be able to successfully qualify for and maintain a Sunport Access Control Card as determined by the criteria set forth by the policies and guidelines of the Aviation Department and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).Successful completion of a security background check conducted by U.S.
