    Seeking a talented IT Procurement Specialist to join their team. The IT Procurement Specialist will work with the indirect buyers and help them capture the stakeholders' needs, then liaison with key stakeholders and suppliers to provide all the necessary information for contract review through completion. They will also review contracts, terms, and service level agreements and track procurement data.

    ***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***

    Responsibilities:

    • IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:
    • for scanning all current and new contracts in Ironclad, for the aide and assistance of IT Indirect Procurement Manager
    • for assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders.
    • that our commitments to customers and suppliers are met.
    • price quotes for goods items and process formal proposals
    • purchase orders (POs). Verify quoted prices when generating a PO for any item, including reordering
    • orders, manage the status of purchasing needs for stock items and exterior materials
    • the Indirect Procurement Manager in finding and achieving cost savings through sourcing new suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors
    • vendor database and set up local vendors as needed. Use preferred vendors as often as possible
    • new prices in the system and PO's, formal proposals, and any pertinent information
    • open lines of communication by establishing and building relationships with internal and external customers, including middle and upper management. Communicating new items and discontinued items across all company teams
    • product specifications, maintaining a working knowledge of goods or services to be purchased

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
    • years experience in a purchasing role
    • experience in a related industry is a plus in Manufacturing and coatings
    • experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role
    • with working with Ironclad, our contract management tool is preferred.
    • of procurement best practices and industry trends
    • negotiation and analytical skills
    • be familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook with data entry capabilities. Experience in Ironclad a plus
    • verbal and written communication skills; solid basic math skills
    • organized and detail-oriented
    • to handle multiple procurement requests concurrently and on an ongoing basis
    • to Work independently in a fast-paced environment. Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions and work well with other organizations
