    This positi on will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, as well as, assisting servers as needed. The Hostess w ill liaise with management regarding inordinate guest flow, special requests/occasions, and customer feedback. The Hostess will also be responsible for overall greet and goodbye ceremonies.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    This position will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, as well as, assisting servers as needed. The Hostess will liaise with management regarding inordinate guest flow, special requests/occasions, and customer feedback. The Hostess will also be responsible for overall greet and goodbye ceremonies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS (up to five):

    Warmly welcome guests, seat guests and bid a fond farewell and invite for a return visit.

    Uses organization skills to run a waitlist, gauge the kitchen, servers and overall dining room performance; determines where guests will be seated.

    Ensures that large group's requirements are met, including services needed for small children, as well as for individuals with disabilities or food allergies.

    Inspects and maintains the arrival area, doors, windows as well as menu covers and inserts.

    Multi-tasking in a high volume and high demand work environment and Understands the dining room and menu offerings

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High School diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Must have superior guest relations skills and the ability to answer guest inquiries about the Resort.

    Must have proper phone etiquette to take to-go orders.

    Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

    Must have demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    Must be able to clearly speak, write and understand the English language.

    Must be able to multi-task in a high volume and high demand work environment.

    Must be able to learn and understand dining room and menu offerings.
