    A leading Western, employee-owned consulting firm dedicated to designing sustainable and efficient infrastructure solutions is searching for a Technical Drainage Lead for their Colorado teams.


    As the Transportation Drainage Engineer Lead, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and implementation of drainage systems for transportation projects.

    You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the successful completion of projects.


    Your responsibilities will include:
    Leading the design and analysis of drainage systems for highways, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
    Collaborating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.
    Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software and methodologies.
    Preparing engineering plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
    Mentoring and coaching junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
    Participating in project meetings, presentations, and reviews to communicate project status and findings effectively.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado, or ability to obtain within six months.
    Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation drainage engineering, including design and analysis of drainage systems.
    Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and GIS tools.
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
    Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
