    Devops Site Reliability Engineer

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The Senior Site Reliability Engineer collaborates with the team to facilitate the migration to AWS. Responsibilities include:

    • Working closely with the team to plan and execute the migration process.
    • Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems on AWS.
    • Implementing best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and automation.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the migration process.

    Project Description: The project involves migrating all MemberRTR APIs to AWS infrastructure, aiming for improved scalability, reliability, and performance.

    Performance Expectations/Metrics: The individual and their team are expected to successfully migrate all MemberRTR APIs to AWS within the specified timeframe while maintaining service reliability and minimizing disruptions.

    First Day: On the first day, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will:

    • Pair with a team member to understand the current system architecture and setup.
    • Familiarize themselves with existing tools, processes, and documentation related to the migration project.

    Previous Job Titles/Background: Candidates with backgrounds in roles such as Senior Developer or Senior Engineer are well-suited for this position.

    Future Projected Positions: Potential future positions within the company may include roles like Lead Site Reliability Engineer or Infrastructure Architect.

    Internal/External Groups Interface: The candidate will interface with internal teams such as development, operations, and project management, as well as external vendors or consultants involved in the migration project.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    1. CI/CD Experience
    2. Cloud experience
    3. Kubernetes/Docker (Container experience)

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    1. Golang
    2. MongoDB
    3. Kafka

    Education Requirement: College Grad or equivalent experience
