    An employer in Naval Base San Diego is looking for an Information Technology Specialist to join the team on a large Navy contract.

    This specialist will be providing information technology field services and troubleshooting support for customer technical issues onsite.

    The main responsibilities of the role will be centered around handling 2-4 tickets a day involving issues with laptops, desktops, printers, phones, and other technical equipment in person with the customer, so strong communication skills and a deserve to provide customer service support is necessary.

    Additional duties include assisting information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.

    Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.

    Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.

    Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.

    Required Skills & Experience
    -3+ years of information technology support and desktop support experience

    • Strong customer service skills and attitude
    • Advanced troubleshooting experience
    • Active DoD Secret clearance
    • IAT 2 Certification ( Sec + CE)
