    Description: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Solid Organ Transplant

    Location: Medical City Dallas Hospital

    About the Company: Medical City Dallas Transplant Institute is a leading transplant program offering Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, and Heart Transplant services. It's a renowned program with both adult and pediatric services housed in one location, known for excellence in organ transplants. They recently expanded their Liver Transplant Program and are looking to grow further while maintaining exceptional outcomes.

    Job Summary: Seeking a dedicated Transplant Pharmacist to join the team at Medical City Dallas and collaborate with Transplant Surgeons to ensure top-notch clinical care for patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide pharmaceutical care and monitor patient medication regimens
    • Participate in committees for kidney and pancreas transplant care
    • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services
    • Ensure safe and cost-effective drug therapy
    • Lead Solid Organ Transplant services and staff training
    • Provide education to patients and caregivers
    • Collaborate with medical team to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes
    • Comply with regulatory requirements and facility policies
    • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

    Qualifications:

    • B.S or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
    • Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the TX State Board of Pharmacy
    • Minimum 1 year of hospital clinical pharmacy experience or 2 years of general hospital pharmacy experience
    • Completion of hospital PGY1/pharmacy general practice residency or fellowship
    • Specialty BCPS certification
    • Other relevant certifications
