    We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Bank Teller/New Accounts opportunity available with a Southern California financial institution that is striving to be the best community bank by providing superior customer service. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and offering solutions that best meet our customers' financial needs.
    Bank Teller/New Accounts responsible for the specific duties listed below.
    Your specific duties will include:

    • Providing excellent customer service by promoting positive interactions and building strong relationships.
    • Assisting customers with everyday transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and processing outgoing wire transfers.
    • Balancing cash drawer, night-drop deposits, and daily work in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Maintaining files and records related to checking accounts, savings accounts, and treasury management products.
    • Ensuring new accounts are opened and serviced in compliance with Universal Bank policies and procedures.
    Required qualifications for the position include:
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, supervisors, and peers.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Basic math skills, including cash and negotiable instrument handling.
    • Minimum of six (6) months of recent customer service experience.
    • Minimum of six (6) months of recent cash handling experience.
    • Minimum of six (6) months of teller experience.
    • Minimum of six (6) months of new accounts experience in a banking institution.
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (required).
    Pay Rate Range: $ $26.00 per hour (annual $45,760 - $54,080)
    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
