Overview: As a Project-Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a key project within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

o Develop detailed project and fabrication plans outlining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

o Work with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.

o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

o Run $40-50 million size project

o Oversee third-party fabrication shop activities

o Create and manage project budget

o Create and manage project schedule

o Interface with management and client

2. Project Execution:

o Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

o Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and address any issues or deviations from the plan.

o Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.

o Manage project budgets and resource allocations.

3. Stakeholder Management:

o Communicate effectively with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate changes as needed.

o Resolve conflicts and facilitate consensus among team members and stakeholders.

4. Quality Assurance:

o Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.

o Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

5. Change Management:

o Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.

o Assess the impact of changes and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.

o Implement change management processes to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.

o Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas of concern.

o Capture lessons learned and best practices to inform future projects
