    Position Summary:

    We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.

    The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions.

    The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.


    To be a successful radiologic technologist, you should be compassionate and have good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients.


    You should have good technical and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities:

    Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.

    Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.

    Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.


    Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.

    Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.

    Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.

    Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.

    Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.

    Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

    Requirements:

    An associate or bachelor's degree in radiology.

    CA license required for ARRT (R); BLS.

    2+ years of experience; CRT with Fluoro, CT experience.

    A license to practice radiography.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.

    Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.

    Good organizational, time management, and analytical abilities, and attention to detail.

    The ability to lift heavy weights without assistance.

    Education: Bachelors Degree

    Certification: Basic Life Support
