    BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as a Account Manager. The Account Manager has will be primarily responsible for managing the sales and profitability of accounts assigned, by directly influencing relevant internal and external commercial activities. Account Manager will be responsible for products such as Inverter, eMotor, eDrive Units, and On-board Chargers. This position will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program Management to create and implement strategies for maximizing current business and obtaining new business. Candidate will take a leadership role in coordination of new business quotations. You will make an impact in our team and with our customers by bringing your positive attitude, strategic thinking, and innovative approach toward Internal and External Customer satisfaction.

    Key responsibilities

    Represents the business unit in a professional, positive manner.

    Develops and deploys the customer interface strategy (points of contact, frequency) and builds strong rapport with key decision makers, developing coaches and sponsors as necessary.

    Oversee sales and commercial management for customer programs of the assigned customer accounts. This includes but is not limited to RFQs, engineering changes, contract management, documentation of customer-owned tooling, customer portal management, VA/VE activities, capacity management and negotiations, mentorship of plant employees new to the customer, etc.

    Articulate a clear understanding of our global industry market trends, competitor position & strategies, and customer development trends and direct relevant information to the appropriate functional teams for consolidation in forecast and market sensing processes.

    Develops (with input from cross-functional teams) and deploys comprehensive customer strategies that improve the profitability and growth of the assigned accounts.

    Works in conjunction with sales management to deploy comprehensive pricing strategies which are market driven, based on value provided to the customer and competitive alternatives.

    Responsible for the development, execution, and leadership of New Business Opportunity (NBO) plans, tracking and recording progress toward sales objectives with regular reporting to Business Unit Management.

    Monitors program launch activities to confirm change management is properly executed internally and externally, ensuring program commitments are achieved through launch & series production.

    Takes ownership of total customer satisfaction, monitoring our performance on key supplier metrics and pursue corrective action plans as appropriate.

    Leading customer commercial contracts execution by negotiating and coordinating with the BorgWarner legal counsel if necessary, ensuring compliance with BorgWarner commercial policies.

    Develops sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitors market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.

    Provides global coordination on customer issues where required.

    Shares and seeks information outside of his/her BU.

    What were looking for

    Bachelor's Degree (commercial/technical preferred)

    General Motors Account Management Experience (Preferred)

    4+ years OE Automotive Account Management and/or other relevant Automotive experience (minimum)
