    Top rated specialty medical group in Henderson, NV has an immediate opening for an experienced Back Office Medical Assistant with blood draws. Great opportunity to assist with procedures at an exclusive ENT Practice.

    Summary:

    Position: Back Office Medical Assistant

    Location: Henderson, NV

    Days: Monday- Friday- 8:30am to 5pm

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay Rate: $19 - $20 DOE

    Responsibilities:
    • Strong back office & patient interaction
    • Medication reconciliation, Rx refills
    • Vital Signs, injections, gather specimens and send to lab for processing timely
    • Document chief complaint/medical history/update medication list
    • Request/Gather all necessary data for each patient medical record
    Position Requirements
    • Medical Assistant Certificate or diploma
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Must be organized, detailed, and professional
    • EMR skills

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
