    About the Role:

    The Customer Data Platform team is building a new Tier 1 platform to unlock Remitly's next phase of growth. Our mission is to accelerate Remitly's product teams by offering them simple interfaces to integrate with, while abstracting the complexity of secure and compliant storage within the platform. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II with experience building backend systems to accelerate our delivery against this mission. You will report to the Engineering Manager of the Customer Data Platform team.

    You Will:

    • Deliver complex projects end-to-end, with high autonomy and quality
    • Build backend APIs and systems, working with technologies like Go, RDS/DynamoDB
    • Partner with other teams, to help them migrate to our new platform

    You Have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ years of software development experience
    • Experience debugging live production issues and fluency with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing)
    • [Preferred] Experience with Go, RDS and DynamoDB

    Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136,000 - $170,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
