    Summary



    The position is in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Planning and Real Estate (PRE) Directorate. PRE is responsible for portfolio management and portfolio planning for the entirety of OBO's real property portfolio overseas. You will serve as a Management Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and/or improving the efficiency of OBO's Long Range Planning Division.



    Duties

    • Coordinates across all Bureau funding programs to strategically plan and schedule capital and non-capital projects of the Department for the overseas real property portfolio, to include Embassy and Consulate buildings.
    • Collects, organizes, and analyzes asset data to inform a prioritization and scoring methodology.
    • Develops and maintains multi-year planning schedules that inform future project activities throughout the Bureau, from site acquisition to construction.
    • Responsible for a wide range of tasks that comprise the Bureau fiscal cost-sharing program for the construction and maintenance of the overseas portfolio.
    • Communicates to audiences at the working, management, and executive levels within a variety of public speaking forums to present project planning methodology and cost-sharing programs of the Bureau.
    • Writes, reviews, and submits mandated reports, to include the Real Property Capital Plan and the Long Range Plan.
