Civil Structural Engineer (Industrial or Commercial Construction)

Georgetown KY / Liberty, NC / San Antonio, TX

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil, Structural systems
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and company standards.
• Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for ACS systems.
• Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups.
• Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis.
• Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2+ years in construction management. (Industrial / Commercial Building) MUST HAVE
2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, however, Multi-discipline background (civil, electrical, etc.)
3. Experience in design criteria development for Civil Structural Systems.
4. 5+ years in Civil / Structural design field.
5. Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
