    Description

    Job Overview:

    • Provide direct patient care and related support services within a healthcare setting for patients of all ages
    • Assist with activities of daily living, such as ambulation, hygiene, and toileting as directed
    • Perform routine tasks, such as taking vital signs, changing catheter bags, and collecting non-sterile specimens
    • Observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort, and report any concerns to supervisors
    • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • CNA or certification as an EMT-B or completion of one semester of an accredited nursing program
    • Current CPR/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire
    • Prior patient care experience preferred but not required

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 25 to 50 pounds regularly
    • May be exposed to hazardous materials and must follow all safety protocols
    • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
