    Role Overview:

    The Senior Director, Clinical Research, is a pivotal role within global clinical development, focused on accelerating business performance and overseeing operations to deliver novel and high-quality products.

    This role will be instrumental in leading and conducting Phase I – IV global clinical development activities - with a focus on the businesses GI pipeline.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate at a senior level in Clinical Development activities for a series of studies within a program or group of related programs.
    • Act as a clinical, scientific, and management reference for the project(s) both internally and externally.
    • Manage budget, resourcing, and timing, ensuring high standards in project timeline adherence in global programs.
    • Provide medical, clinical, and scientific support to Marketing/Business Development throughout the product life cycle.
    • Oversee a key asset within GI

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • MD degree
    • Board Certified Gastroenterologist
    • Proven success in Clinical Drug Development
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to think strategically.
    • Outstanding medical, clinical, and scientific expertise.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
    • Motivational ability to influence others across various levels and disciplines.
