Job DescriptionJob Description Salary:
The position involves the on-site management of commercial construction projects ranging in cost from $5 million to $30 million. Projects are generally in the Greater Cincinnati / Tri-State Area.
Periodic regional travel to project sites may be required.
The position requires working from the main office location in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
Project planning / scheduling.
Project Leadership, control, and documentation
Project cost control, cost tracking, and budgeting
Material purchasing / negotiating
Subcontractor / supplier solicitation
Quantity take-offs
Contracts and Purchase Orders
Shop Drawing review and material submittal processing
Chairing project meetings and producing minutes
Daily progress and monitoring of projects along with management of site superintendents and subcontractors / suppliers.
Invoice and time sheet review / approval.
Ideal Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years in the commercial construction industry.
Preferred four year degree in construction management or civil/mechanical engineering.
Candidate should excel in working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, local building authorities, and other professionals.
Basic computer knowledge.
Knowledge with Procore preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Strong leadership ability.
