    Come join the Marketing and Events team at Black Butte Ranch We are hiring a Marketing & Events Assistant to support the Ranch during our busy summer season.
    The Event & Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of seasonal and special events at Black Butte Ranch. This position is primarily focused on bringing events to life through strong logistical support, on-site coordination, and thoughtful follow-through, while also assisting with basic marketing and content needs related to event promotion and storytelling. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
    Responsibilities:
    Event Support

    • Assist with planning, setup, on-site coordination, and breakdown of events
    • Help create and maintain Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
    • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and partners
    • Support pre- and post-event tasks including documentation, billing assistance, and client follow-up
    • Coordinate and execute smaller events from start to finish
    • Capture event content (photos, highlights, quotes, attendance data)
    Marketing & Content Support
    • Assist with drafting, editing, and scheduling email campaigns
    • Copy edit content for website, email, print, and social media
    • Make basic website updates and content uploads
    • Support creation of signage and print materials
    Qualifications:
    • Passion for hospitality; event or banquet experience preferred
    • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented
    • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
    • Comfortable working with multiple departments and deadlines
    • Able to learn new systems and technology quickly
    • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends
    Pay is from $20.00/hr. based on skills and experience.
    Seasonal staff are not eligible for health insurance and other benefits but do receive some great perks, including access to all Ranch amenities including fitness centers, sport courts, pools and hot tubs, free golf, and discounts at our restaurants, retail outlets and at our spa.
