We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures accurately and efficiently
- Conduct interviews, employee orientation, training & development sessions to build a high-performing team
- Implement effective purchasing strategies and pricing policies to optimize profitability
- Supervise shift operations, including cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and customer interactions
- Monitor store safety protocols, manage inventory control, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills to lead a diverse team effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base
- Experience with recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and performance management
- Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, sales management, and retail store operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control software, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising staff during shifts while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail math principles
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a retail or grocery setting is preferred
