- Prepare and review quality documents for shipping in accordance with industry and customer standards
- Review and prepare AS9102 submissions
- Prepare PPAP and PPR documents (pFMEA, control plan, AS13002 inspection plans)
- Review contracts for quality clauses
- Trouble shoot manufacturing issues
- Create and fill out internal non-conformance / Corrective Action reports
- Complete customer corrective action requests
- Assist customers with compliance audits and new quality programs / surveys and records (AS9102 and AS13002)
- Develop Cpk data for required parts
- Inspection using hand tools, surface plate tools and optical comparator
- Interpret customer PO clauses, quality clauses, customer specifications, special MFG instruction, drawings, and test procedures
- JQE may execute the following functions as directed by his/ her supervisor: Calibration, DMIR, Regulatory management such as FDA, FAA, ASME
- Aid in writing / updating quality manual / procedures / processes.
- Assist Quality Manager as needed
- FAA Repairman / FAA DMIR.

We have operations in Saint Louis, Missouri, Huntington Beach, California, and Milford, Connecticut, serving local, national and international customers, both military and commercial. The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, and emergency breathing equipment to its customers.
Position Summary:
Responsible for conducting ongoing analysis of the production process inputs and outputs to ensure that customer (internal and external) quality requirements are being achieved.
Essential Duties:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Some prior experience in quality. Preferred knowledge of FAA repair station.
