    **$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (MCI Airport)**

    The CDL Class B w/ Hazmat Driver is responsible for following all CDL/DOT requirements and procedures independently, or as a team member under the direct supervision of the Manager.

    **Primary Duties and Responsibilities :**

    The CDL Class B w/ Hazmat Driver will have the ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer/tanker (standard or automatic) over public and private roadways and highways; transporting, loading, and unloading fuel to meet established service delivery task, timelines, and customer expectations.

    Loads and transports fuel between facilities and the carriers via tractor-trailer

    Ensures timely arrival & departures for all trips

    Ensures trip sheets are communicated judicious & accurately

    **Competencies:**

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    Able to lift and attach fuel hose to unload fuel from the tanker into fuel facility

    Able to qualify and meet security checks

    Knowledge and compliance with all safety procedures; including reporting incidents and injuries to the manager.

    Act reasonably and quickly exercising judgment with the appropriate actions, and resolution to operational situations.

    Read, comprehend and interpret rules and regulations. Concentrate and pay close attention to detail.

    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and other governmental agencies and departments, the community, airport users, and the traveling public.

    Lift and carry moderately heavy materials, supplies, and equipment lbs.) frequently, lbs. occasionally; requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.

    Work is performed outdoors with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, and extremes of temperatures, noxious fumes, and odors.

    **Education/Experience:**

    Active CDL Class A License; 5 years work-related driving experience with tractor-trailers; experience driving within city limits; experience driving all lengths of trailers.

    **Language Ability:**

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

    **Reasoning Ability:**

    Ability to understand and follow assignments and instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to exercise situational awareness and good judgment, especially on the road.
