    The role is primarily responsible for the planning, and development of Core Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance, as well as facilitating innovation for the Core Infrastructure CoE team. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing operational requirements, reducing system footprint, and leading the team's efforts of Infrastructure in the Cloud and On-premises. This position assists in the planning of large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. The individual will be the senior point of escalation within the IT organization locally and globally for the associates and for all customer impacting situations. The individual should consistently model and promote the highest level of customer support orientation and professionalism. The individual is expected to manage the CORE Infrastructure documentation, analysis, prioritization, escalation, tracking, and feedback of all events impacting the business. The Core Lead is expected to perform according to the TNA & TSP goals that are driven by the business need.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Directly manage and provide day-to-day oversight of a team of Systems Engineers who support operations, maintenance, and automation of Core Infrastructure systems and applications.
    • Define, implement, and oversee processes for 24*7 production support for Core Infrastructure systems and all Core Infrastructure applications. Includes managing maintenance schedule and production operations to service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely planned and unplanned outage notifications for production changes are provided.
    • Work with customers and managers to set priorities and schedule deliverables of customer requirements.
    • Provide support and subject matter expertise to aide in strategic decisions and resolution of critical issues as they arise.
    • Oversee the development and deployment of Infrastructure systems in the Cloud and On-premises.
    • Assist in troubleshooting to resolve production issues, guide team in root cause analysis, and communicate results.
    • Oversee and maintain committed infrastructure code, scripts and PowerShell.
    • Work with a continuous improvement mindset. Participate in debriefing sessions for critical events and define the action plans to avoid reoccurring again.
    • Mentor junior engineers in processes and technologies.
    Credentials and Experience:
    • BS/BA & 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field. Equivalent education/experience is applicable.
    • Experience with use of Atlassian Suite of products, mainly JIRA
    • Strong experience with IT Security (tools and procedures)
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and their applications
    • Extensive experience with managing IT Infrastructure - preferred
    • Experience integrating hardware and software systems in large global enterprise
    • Strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
    • Solid Experience with Datacenter technologies and operations (Compute, Storage, Network, Backup)
    • Advanced Virtualization knowledge (VMware)
    • Knowledge about HCI (HPE Simplicity)
    • Advanced Active Directory knowledge (AD DS, Azure AD, ADFS)
    • Experience with MS SQL
    • Experience with Remote Desktop Services
    • Knowledge about AD CS (PKI)
    • Solid SCCM/Intune experience
    • Azure services experience
    • M365 virtual desktops experience
    • Azure VMware Solution knowledge
    • Azure PaaS offerings
