- Keep track of food and equipment inventories.
- Utilize, maintain, and clean all kitchen line equipment, preparation and storage areas.
- Stock and rotate products on the cooking line.
- Have adequate knowledge of cooking stations, menu items, and prep procedures to ensure accurate portioning, quality, cooking time, and performance standards.
- Cook and prepare menu items according to guest preferences within company guidelines and following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Supervise food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
- Anticipate, identify, and address system failures to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
- Communicate with the Manager on Duty and colleagues regarding product/service issues, equipment, safety concerns, etc.
- Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service provided through internal training
- Must communicate effectively
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have excellent mobility and flexibility
- Capable of working irregular hours under intense stress/pressure during peak periods
- Demonstrate a high level of coordination
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
- Ability to fit through a 30" wide opening
- Involve frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors
- Require constant standing and walking

Position Description
